Kavita Kaushik is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi and Punjabi television. She was born on February 15, 1981, in New Delhi, India. Her father, Dinesh Chandra Kaushik, is a former CRPF officer. She completed her graduation in Philosophy from Indraprastha College for Women in Delhi.
Kavita Kaushik began her career in the entertainment industry by participating in auditions for the television show "Kutumb" in 2001. She then moved to Mumbai and joined Ekta Kapoor's popular show "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii," where she portrayed the character of Manya Doshi. She went on to appear in various television shows like "Kohi Apna Sa," "Kammal," "Kahani Terrii Merrii," and "Piya Ka Ghar."
In 2006, Kavita Kaushik gained widespread recognition and popularity for her role as Chandramukhi Chautala in the sitcom "F.I.R." on SAB TV.
