Mugdha Veira Godse is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Hindi films. She was born in 1986 in Pune, India, and comes from a middle-class family. She completed her schooling from Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Commerce in Pune.
Godse started her career in modeling and gained recognition after winning the Gladrags Mega Model Hunt in 2002. In 2004, she participated in the Femina Miss India contest and reached the semi-finals, winning the Miss Perfect Ten title. She then moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in modeling.
As a model, Godse appeared in various commercials and advertisements, including notable ones for Airtel and Close-Up toothpaste. She also worked on music videos and walked the runway at national and international fashion shows.
Godse made her Bollywood acting debut in the film "Fashion" (2008), directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. She received critical acclaim for her performance and was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She won the Apsara Award for Best Female Debutante for her role in the film.
In addition to "Fashion," Godse has appeared in films such as "All The Best" (2009), "Jail" (2009), "Help" (2010), "Gali Gali Chor Hai" (2012), and "Will You Marry Me?" (2012). She has also acted in the Tamil film "Thani Oruvan" and served as a judge on the Marathi reality show "Marathi Paul Padte Pudhe."
In her personal life, She follows an eggetarian diet, meaning she includes eggs in her vegetarian diet.
